What will you learn during the course?
This practical, hands-on canine taping course is designed for veterinary physiotherapists who want to develop their knowledge and confidence in applying kinesiology tape to dogs.
During the workshop, you will learn the principles of canine taping, explore commonly used taping applications and practise different techniques. The course also covers how taping may be incorporated into injury support and canine rehabilitation programmes.
A large part of the day is dedicated to practical exercises, allowing you to apply the techniques directly under the guidance of two experienced ACPAT Registered Physiotherapists.

About the course
This one-day canine taping course provides veterinary physiotherapists with a practical introduction to the principles and applications of kinesiology taping for dogs.
You will learn about commonly used taping techniques and explore how tape may be incorporated into canine injury support and rehabilitation. The instructors will demonstrate the different applications and explain important practical considerations, including tape placement and working with a dog’s coat.
The main focus of the workshop is practical learning. Participants will have the opportunity to practise the techniques themselves and receive guidance from two ACPAT Registered Physiotherapists with extensive experience in canine rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
By the end of the course, you will have developed a clearer understanding of canine taping and greater confidence in applying the techniques within clinical practice.
