Choosing your tape
Do you have sensitive skin? CureTape® Gentle has a milder adhesive and may be a more suitable choice.
Taping guides
The narrow 1 cm rolls save time when an application calls for thin strips. They are used in detailed and lymphatic taping techniques. Explore our scar taping guide or our guide to lymphatic taping of the lower leg and ankle for application examples.
When it is time to remove your tape, FASCIQ Tape Remover Spray helps loosen the adhesive for easier removal.
About kinesiology tape
Kinesiotape is an elastic cotton tape with a hypoallergenic, acrylic adhesive layer. It has been designed to mimic the skin in terms of elasticity and thickness. The tape is made of high-quality materials, adheres to the skin for 3 to 7 days and is water-resistant.
What do people use kinesiology tape for, and how does it work?
People commonly use kinesiology tape around the knees, shoulders, ankles and back during sport, work or everyday activities. Physiotherapists also use it as part of treatment plans, including applications around swollen areas and scars.
The tape stretches with your body rather than holding an area firmly in place like FASCIQ Rigid Sports Tape. You can feel the tape gently pulling on your skin as you move. This provides a physical reminder of the taped area and may make you more aware of how you move.
The tape’s gentle pull on the skin is also one of the ideas behind its use in lymphatic taping. Researchers are still studying how this works and what difference it makes. The experience can vary from person to person and depends on the application.

The narrow tape is used for precise applications requiring thin strips, including lymphatic taping and taping around fully healed scars. Its 1 cm width saves time cutting a wider roll lengthways.
Each box contains five rolls, each measuring 1 cm x 5 m. That gives you 25 metres of narrow tape in total.
It has the same elastic cotton material and hypoallergenic adhesive as CureTape® Classic 5 cm. The difference is the narrower width, allowing precise placement without cutting long, thin strips yourself.
Yes. The tape is supplied in continuous rolls rather than individual strips. Cut each piece to the length required and round off the corners to help prevent peeling.
Typically 4–7 days, depending on placement and daily activities. Pat dry after showering rather than rubbing. Narrow strips have more exposed edges relative to their width, so take care to avoid friction and catching them on clothing. Remove the tape sooner if irritation occurs.
